PawCheck uses your browser's localStorage to save:

• Pet profiles: If you choose to save your pet's information (name, species, weight, age) for faster triage checks, this data is stored only on your device.
• Language preference: Your selected language (English, French, or Romanian).
• Triage history: Symptom selections during a triage session.

Important: This data never leaves your browser. We cannot access it. You can clear it anytime by:

• Clearing your browser's cache and cookies
• Deleting pet profiles directly in the app
• Using private/incognito browsing mode

4. Analytics (Plausible)

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, GDPR-compliant analytics service that does NOT use cookies.

What Plausible Collects:

• Page views (anonymized, aggregated)
• Referral sources (how you found PawCheck)
• Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
• Country (based on anonymized IP address)

What Plausible Does NOT Collect:

• Personal data or IP addresses
• Cross-site tracking
• Cookies or persistent identifiers

5. Affiliate Links

PawCheck may display product recommendations with affiliate links (e.g., pet food, supplements, health products). If you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Tracking: Affiliate platforms (e.g., Zooplus, Amazon) may use cookies to track purchases. We have no control over their tracking practices. Please review their privacy policies.

No influence on triage: Product recommendations are based on symptom categories and do NOT influence the triage outcome or urgency level.

• Google Fonts: To load the Inter font. Google may log font requests according to their privacy policy.
